INTERNATIONAL ADMISSIONS

ADMISSIONS REQUIREMENTS
PIF's online program is open for those International students wishing to complete a program with us. Students without US citizenship or permanent residency can opt to take courses strictly online until the onground classes are available in your program. If you are an international student, please be advised of the necesssary requirements to successfully admit you into the program of your choice:
1. Visit the admissions page to start your application process. An application form complete with the $45 admission fee (can be paid online or mailed in US dollars to the address provided below) UNLESS the fee is waived, in this case you would not need to pay this amount.
2. Teacher, counselor, community leader, or clergy recommendation letter
3. ACT or SAT scores (for school code to have these scores mailed to us, contact intlstudies@mypifonline.com)
4. A 500 word minimum essay to include the following: your career goals, at least 2 people working in the area you would like to work in, if you have not specified an area of work, you can list how you plan to achieve your goals, why you selected our school, and what you plan for yourself after graduating from your program.
5. High school diploma and official transcript from any previously attended colleges (if these documents are in another language other than English, an official translation in English will need to accompany them)
6. TOEFL scores of 550 for the paper test and 170 for the computer test, and at least a 61 for the internet based test is required. (If you are from a country where English is the primary language you do not have to take this exam)

FINANCIAL INFORMATION
International Students are ineligible for Federal Financial Aid, personal grants or work study so it is imperative that the student be self funded fully or have a US sponsor that will be responsible for covering the costs of tuition.
Applicants are automatically considered for in house scholarships based on submission of materials at the time of acceptance. Though limited, these scholarships are given to those qualified applicants on a first come first serve basis. Scholarships are rewarded based on the applicant's academic and/or artistic achievement and abilities.
STEP 2: Form F-1 FINANCIAL STATEMENT
Students desiring to attend Presentation Institute of Fashion must show they have the necessary funds to meet the educational costs of their intended program for at least the first year if it is an associates or bachelors program. For a certificate program, the student to be must show ability to pay for the entire cost of the certificate program. To demonstrate this, the student must complete a financial statement F-1 form.
STEP 3: US SPONSOR
A verification of funds documented on an official bank statement showing US dollars will be required as proof the student can meet his/her educational costs. If the student is unable to show proof of this, a financial sponsor who is a US citizen must complete an Affidavit of Support, provided by our admissions office to verify that he or she will be responsible for the educational costs incurred on behalf of the student. Any falsification of admissions documention will result in automatic termination of application and/or dismissal from the institution.
